The reason for our existence, the tournaments we go to prove to the outside world that we are Great Blokes who love A Good Laugh as well as being Top Beer Drinkers, when in fact we are sad lonely wargamers who gang together to feel like we belong.
We attended more tournaments than ever in 2003 - probably because of the plethora of one-dayers that have suddenly become popular. Then again, it's probably because we live far too near GW HQ than is healthy...
Here's a few interesting statistics taken from the tournaments we attended this year... not least of which is the fact that
John Dale somehow managed to get the best average out of all of us even though he's hardly won anything and
Rob Lane somehow won more tournaments than anybody else even though
Paul Corcoran and
Andrew Chesney seemed to go great guns. Next year lads!
