By the end of the first day it was pretty clear that in 2003, it's out with the old and in with the new - at least as far as the Dragon Slayers are concerned; all the old warriors,
John Dale,
Adrian McWalter,
Pete Scholey and
Rob Lane were doing pretty badly, but
Paul Corcoran,
Jason Annett and
Andrew Chesney were going great guns. In the end a couple of Troll Slayers, notably Jon Pegg, forced themselves into the running but it was clear this was only going to be a Dragon Slayer win thanks to the boys' last few games!
