Christmas time again, and we're still playing wargames: dice wait for no Santa you know! The Warhammer Open VII started it all off with a bang and the Summer Blood Bowl 2003 finals day ended it with a whimper, although we did enjoy the socks.

Biggs Makes It
06.12.03
After an absence of a few months thanks to a new job, Michael Biggs finally makes it down to the club for a Tuesday night's Blood Bowl gaming!

Two Hangovers
06.12.03
The Warhammer Open VII and far too early in the morning after the night before: Andrew Chesney and Wayne Kemp celebrated the lanky one's birthday a little too much. Drinking Chess anyone?

Early Start
06.12.03
We always wonder why the Open tournaments want you there an hour before the tournaments begin and then we understood: it's so we can write out our army lists because we couldn't be arsed to do it the previous week

Eyes
06.12.03
Thanks to me getting my army list done the night before I was rather bored, hence a few close-ups. First it's young Andy Stevenson who proved that no amount of education enables you to avoid keeping your glasses on whilst spraying varnish on your figures. I suppose he's lucky he wasn't undercoating them

Pull That Face
06.12.03
The old adage "It'll stay that way" made no impression on Martin Bunting

The Open
06.12.03
The Warhammer Open VII was actually rather spiffing

Spazzy Eater
06.12.03
No, not a bizarre offshoot of a well-known roadside restaraunt: just Martin Bunting's spazzy eating earning Andy Stevenson's disapproval

Force Feed
06.12.03
In marked contrast, Michael Biggs observes etiquette and stuffs himself silly

Second
06.12.03
Back to the gaming - Martin Bunting ends up second at the Warhammer Open VII!

06.12.03
Rob Lane won the Warhammer Open VII and was also best general. The angle? Don't ask

Monsieur Gayford
09.12.03
That nice chap Adam Winters decided to join the Dragon Slayers after partaking in the Summer Blood Bowl 2003. You might not be able to see his face but he does look a bit like a young Adrian McWalter

Unexpectedness
09.12.03
An unexpected visitor came down to the club this particular Tuesday; we hadn't seen him for ages and afforded him a welcome only reserved for passing dignitaries. Wayne Kemp turned up too

Finals Day
20.12.03
Wowser! Only six of us turned up to the Summer Blood Bowl 2003 Finals Day, but those who did got their money's worth!

20.12.03
A most highly anticipated grudge match - Richard Paget's Profits of Doom took on Greg Chambers' Berstrom Bullets

The Winner
20.12.03
After a mighty effort Dave Grant won the Summer Blood Bowl 2003 Finals Day easily!

Christmas Gaming
30.12.03
The traditional Christmas Gaming - a full day of wargames and a night of curry afterward - in full swing

Smytheitis
30.12.03
It seems the ever-youthful Matt Otter has caught Smytheitis, a rare compulsive disorder that forces wargamers to play as many different games and use as many different armies as possible. Here he is shown enjoying Necromunda. How he caught this condition is open to debate, but I think we all know what happened really
