Dragon Slayers

The Dragon Slayers proudly present the Dragon Slayers Bash!

A one day WFB tournament held at Maelstrom's  Eye of the Storm venue in Mansfield.

This one dayer will be the first in a series of quarterly one dayers (this being the spring event). The idea being that each event will be held one or two weeks prior to a larger two day event. The DS Bash will mirror the rulespack of said event, giving those attending the event a practice day with varied opponenets and for those that just want to come along anyway a fun one dayer that's a lot easier to attend for those with work and families etc.

For this event we will be using the South Coast GT rulespack which will be held the week after. Thanks to Dan, Wayne & Russ for permission to piggy back their rulespack.

Please have a look at the SCGT rulespack if you aren't familiar. A few differences as its a one dayer and we have a venue with terrain. So we will use the timetable from the Saturday in the pack and all terrain will be pre fixed, no scattering.


There will be no Timmy/DWR comp though, if you're attending the SCGT you already know wether or not your list is accepted. Just bring a list withinh the comp restrictions and of course if attending SCGT just bring your list!

Later events will mirror the rulespacks of other events (with consent of course). But only as a practice stylee event, we aren't setting up this event to rival those events, rather to compliment them and offer some good practice and of course offer people a good quality one dayer at a great venue.

The first event will be held on Saturday the 17th April and will cost £12.50. Lunch will be included on the day. Tickets are available via the Maelstrom Games website.

The prizes for this event will be sponsored by our hosts Maelstrom Games so expect some quality goodies.


The event clashes with the GW WFB Doubles. I'm not too concerned by this as two rather different events. But worth pointing out in case you plan on attending the doubles so you don't double book.
