For each unit of missile troops, roll a D6 every time they wish to shoot to see how badly the reduced visibility affects them. So, for example, a unit of Empire bowmen with a normal range of 24 now have a range of 24 - D6. Additionally, all shooting is at 1 to hit. Guess range war machines must reduce D6 from their estimate, and must re-roll any direct hits once (if a further direct hit is rolled, thats a lucky shot)! The range of magical attacks, whether spells or some kind of ranged weapon, are not affected.
Movement is reduced by 1 for troops on foot and 2 for all other units. Flyers are not affected by this rule unless they wish to use their ground move, in which case their movement is reduced by 1.
Blackpowder weapons (such as handguns and cannons) may only fire on the D6 roll of a 2+ each turn. Additionally, if the blackpowder weapon misfires, add +1 to the misfire roll.
