Carrying on from where the
Summer Blood Bowl 2003 league left off, the
Spring Necromunda 2004 campaign is the next specialist game campaign for the Dragon Slayers and is slightly more ambitious... in that we hope to persuade more people to play in a much shorter time! In line with other campaigns it will be held for three months, from April to June, and as usual all games must be played at the regular club meet at the Gas Club.
The purpose of the campaign is pretty simple really: to give those that want it a good break from Warhammer, so anybody who feels a bit zonked by too much fantasy, get your head around some gang war!

Let's see how many games of Necromunda we can get in over the course of the campaign!

A slow start to the campaign this week with quite a few players on holiday or still recruiting their gang.
Richard Paget's Gideon's Disciples have already started to make a name for themselves however, for despite two losses to the Whitefur Tribe and The Pink Ladies the gang has been trying to convert captured gangers to their cause in rather brutal fashion. An unrepentant Mitzi of The Pink Ladies was left with two smashed legs, a couple of broken ribs and three less fingers than she should have. Ouch!

Only two more games to report on, but it's still good news because three of the players are new to the campaign:
Adam Winters,
Rich Gedney and complete unknown
Tim Fisher take their own unique style of wargaming to the masses... well, us lot.

Wowser - five games were played last night, but poor old
Adam Winters lost all three of his! To be fair it all went downhill from the first game against
Singe Frost's delaques, when there was a hive quake and a building fell on top of half his gang... serves him right for trying to burn everybody, I reckon!

Four more games to report on and some crackers too... the introduction of
Andrew Chesney's scavvies put a crow amongst the pigeons:
Rob Lane's ratskins couldn't hold them, and neither could
Adam Winters' new redemptionists!

Well, it's been two months since the last game, but thanks to a concerted effort from
Rob Lane and
Richard Paget, it could still be resurrected before the month ends... let's hope so folks!
