The revelation of a game that is
Epic Armageddon has been supported very well over the past couple of months down at the Dragon Slayers, and when someone suggested a campaign could be a good idea I leapt at the chance - if only to get more people playing!
So, in the tradition of the other campaigns run by the club, it'll go for three months from mid-April to mid-July and will hopefully get everybody involved!

Armies
|

|
|
Feel free to use any official or trial army you wish, as long as you follow these guidelines:
-
Players have 3,000 points to spend on their army.
-
You are allowed to play with any army and all variant lists will be allowed. This is to encourage diversity and to increase our understanding of the gaming system and the different races.
-
No spacecraft are allowed; this is in line with current
Warhammer Players Society
tournament rules.

The campaign will run for three months, from the middle of April to the middle of July.
-
You can only play each army twice during the campaign. Before a campaign game, you must tell the Campaign Organiser - in this case
pete scholey - that you are doing so. You can't play, win and then say you want your score entered!
-
If you play an army more than twice, the third or subsequent games are friendlies and neither will be entered onto the Leaderboard. You can have fun playing though!
-
You may only play against other campaign armies. If you play against non-campaign armies it is considered to be a friendly game.
-
Needless to say, you have to hand in the result and the objective markers gained to the Campaign Organiser after each game, but please make sure these are correct!
-
Games can be played either at the club or at home, but all players must be encouraged to play at the club as often as possible!
-
All other rules wil be as per the
Warhammer Players Society
's
Club Challenge Epic event, as found in the rules for that tournament.

The following scoring system for your games will be used. At the end of the third or fourth turn, if you...
-
Win by 3 objectives or more, the campaign points gained will be 20 - 0.
-
Win by 2 objectives, the campaign points gained will be 17 - 3.
-
Win by 1 objective, the campaign points gained will be 15 - 5.
-
Draw, the campaign points gained will be 10 - 10.
-
Go to a tie-breaker (if you win by more than 150 points, or draw with the margin of victory 150 or less), the campaign points gained will be 12 - 8.

Leaderboard
|
|
|
|
The Leaderboard will be the place to check who's winning the campaign!
-
The leaderboard will list each player, his army, the amount of games he has played as well as those he has won, drawn or lost and his objective markers as well as his campaign points.
-
Campaign points will be averaged over the length of the campaign, the player with the highest average ranked first and the lowest average last. In the event of a tie, the amount of objective markers gained will determine the placing.
